This site is designed to help teachers improve instruction in mathematics.  When designing a tessellation, an artist looks for repeating patterns while putting the pieces together.  Similarly, teachers consider and utilize many pieces as they design the patterns of instruction for the students in mathematics classrooms across the district.  Teachers of mathematics can access the tools they need to consider at this site.  Further assistance is available from the curriculum specialists in the district's mathematics department.  See link below.
